<h2>Lesson Objective</h2>
<p>This lesson is to have the student demonstrate the ability to use either a forward slip (previously practiced at altitude in <a href="https://skylinesoaring.org/TRAINING/Syllabus/4d.shtml">Lesson 4d</a>), on the final approach. Use the forward slip primarily for altitude loss, and the side slip for runway alignment or lateral re-positioning. </p>
